SHORT-BILLED GULL Larus brachyrhynchus

I have very few photos of this because, as a recent split from Common Gull formerly known as Mew Gull, I have never been specifically anywhere to photograph one. Confined mainly to Western USA it seems far less common than its sister-taxon in Europe, but that may be because it is concentrated in more northern areas.
