GREY-HEADED LAPWING Vanellus cinereus

Breeding in Japan, Siberia and northern China, this attractive species is often seen in its wintering areas in southern Asia, especially India and Thailand. We saw them in Hong Kong but were unable to photograph them, so a first for Britain in Northumberland was a "no-brainer" for me. It showed well for several days, albeit distantly for most, and was last seen on the Hebrides, where is it now?
