BROWN NODDY Anous stolidus

Found commonly all over the tropics and subtropics, slightly more widespread than Black Noddy. Related to terns, there are five species of noddy in two genera, basically overall dark (three) or blue/grey, the latter two have also been called ternlets. A close relative is White Tern, which may consist of two species but they are both all white in the field and cannot be told apart with any certainty.
