Holding the unfortunate title of Europe's rarest seabird, and listed as endangered, it is oddly
one of the easiest to observe, since visiting a spot overlooking the nesting ledges at night usually results in at least a silhouette, since they
are nocturnal at colonies. A pelagic trip usually gives much better views, although it is possible to miss them, we were fortunate enough to see
a record number.
