The only other Calonectris shearwater, breeding in the North-west Pacific and dispersing to northern and eastern Australian waters. Similar to Cory's in some ways, this species is always identifiable by the streaking from crown to nape, which gives it the name. A gregarious species, often found in very large flocks, especially behind trawlers.
