Namibia

One of my favourite destinations,we only did a short one-week trip but still saw over three hundred species of birds and several mammals, including Lion and Black Rhino. The famous Etosha Park is empty of people compared to East African reserves and two vehicles in one spot is unusual, consequently photo opportunities are excellent. There are many other areas apart from Etosha and we intend returning, these include the Caprivi Strip which borders on the Okavango Delta and the coastline with numerous seabirds attracted by the cold Benguela Current. These include Damara Tern, Hartlaub's Gull and Scopoli's Shearwater.
