ROCK PRATINCOLE Glareola nuchalis

A small short-tailed Pratincole which as its name suggests inhabits rocky outcrops on fast-flowing rivers. If rivers are high they will perch in trees or on hippos. Found from West Africa to Uganda in the east, not uncommon but widely spread and some populations are intra-African migrants.
