YELLOW-BILLED EGRET Ardea brachyrhyncha

A recent, contentious split proposed by HBW but now included in the IOC list, what was formerly Intermediate Egret has given rise to two additional species. This one is found in sub-saharan Africa. Differences are slight, although full breeding plumage is apparently quite different.
