SHOEBILL Balaeniceps rex

Unique in many ways, one of the most sought after birds on the planet. Occuring over large areas of southern Africa, but thinly distributed and often in inaccessible swamps. Recently a reliable and easy "stake-out" has been found in Uganda, but they don't always show as well as this one.
