PLUMBEOUS IBIS Theristicus caerulescens

An atypical Ibis of somewhat different appearence and once placed in its own genus, this bird is found over parts of northern South America, but is usually uncommon. These birds were taken in the Pantanal, where they are relatively easy to see.
