| Listed as Endangered for the same reasons as the previous species, plus having to cope with the vagaries of El Nino, this burrow-nester breeds in coastal Peru and Northern Chile. Whilst its pelagic range overlaps with the similar Magellanic Penguin, the breeding areas don't, and the two are readily distinguished. |
