GENERAL BIRDING LINKS

You may well know many of these links, but if not they're all worth a look at if you have an interest in birds and their well-being. It really depends on how long you have been interested in wildlife. Whilst we have always had that interest, many people come to it after retirement, or at least later in life, and the sheer wealth of information out there must be quite daunting, but most of the links are those we have found useful, and I have recently included a lot more about other wildlife, since I only began trapping moths in 2013. The choice is rather arbitrary, as there are probably thousands of birding websites, more specific ones may be found in other categories as listed at the top and bottom of this page. I am now adding lodges and places to stay if we have used them and find them helpful or useful to birders, these will be in the specialist travel section. I will happily add links as long as they have some connection with the content of this site, just e-mail. The absence of a link (eg RSPB) does not imply any opinion, just that it's already familiar to most.
