WHITE-EYED GULL Ichthyaetus leucopthalamus

A Red Sea endemic which ranges south, and occasionally north (e.g.Eilat) in the non-breeding season, this species is often found with the next species, Sooty Gull. Its long slender bill and slighter build are diagnostic in most plumages, whilst the breeding adult is quite striking.
