ZINO'S PETREL Pterodroma madeira

Holding the unfortunate title of Europe's rarest seabird, and listed as endangered, it is oddly one of the easiest to observe, since visiting a spot overlooking the nesting ledges at night usually results in at least a silhouette, since they are nocturnal at colonies. A pelagic trip usually gives much better views, although it is possible to miss them, we were fortunate enough to see a record number.
