The most distinctive of the group, and also the most attractive in our opinion, with dark grey head and bright yellow bill. It breeds solely on Pyramid Rock, in the Chatham islands and until recently wasn't recorded far from there, but recently seems to be prospecting a little and is being recorded off New Zealand more frequently. It seems that birds winter off Chile but this also wasn't known until relatively recently.
