WOOLLY-NECKED STORK Ciconia episcopus

Another widespread and fairly common species, occuring in Africa south of the Sahara and from India to Indonesia and Indochina. The two races are currently considered conspecific, but a split has been suggested in the past. The name obviously comes from the downy white feathering on the neck.
