An abberant swan in its own genus, which may bear some
similarities with geese. Found locally over much of southern South America, breeding in Argentina and Chile,
and possibly the Malvinas. Disperses northward in the non-breeding season, as far as Brazil. These photos
were taken in Argentina although central Chile seems to be the most populated area.
