Another circumpolar species, breeding on Subantarctic islands mainly off New Zealand and in the Indian Ocean. Quite a large bird, the white head and dark underwings are unique among petrels. Unfortunately this beautiful bird is solitary at sea and avoids ships, so the pics aren't brilliant.
