CHATHAM ISLAND SHAG Phalacrocorax onslowi

Another of the same group as the previous species, this bird one of the several island endemics which at one time were lumped as one or two species. A critically endangered species occurring at quite low densities in the Chatham Islands, but does occur on the main island, unlike most Chatham endemics.
